Our District needs leaders who are responsive to the people, work hard, and fight for your values.

REYNOLDS ON THE ISSUES

  • PRO-LIFE

Acknowledging that all life is sacred is where compassion begins. Abortion should be in rare and exceptional cases only. When it comes to my stance on abortion rights, I am interested in solutions that protect the lives of mothers and children. I believe that we can do better than where we are and I am listening to solutions that move us ALL forward.

  • DEFENDS THE SECOND AMENDMENT

I believe in our second amendment freedoms to bear arms and protect ourselves. I’ve seen the dangers through my work in prisons and heard the horror stories. Compassionate people hope for the best, yet wise people plan for the worst. We need to preserve our rights to protect our families from imminent danger.

  • PUBLIC SAFETY IS A PRIORITY

Public safety is a very important issue to me because every parent wants to know that their children are safe when they leave the house. There are failures in our Criminal Justice System… and I have ideas on how to improve the system. I believe that those who are closest to the problem are closest to the solution.

  • LIMITED GOVERNMENT

As a teenager and young adult, I worked in the family business and watched my grandparents work tirelessly to care for our clients, make payroll, be in compliance and keep the business afloat. I understand the burdensome regulations that put stress on everyday Ohioans. We need to fix parts of the government that overreach with excessive regulation.

  • EDUCATION

Investing in our children to succeed and live up to their fullest potential. Offering additional support to children who are struggling due to the impact of COVID. Developing innovative mobility solutions for our school districts challenged with bus transportation.

  • FAITH

Supporting equitable religious freedom in schools and the workplace for all to have the right to pray and express their faith. Supporting existing legislation that gives parents the option to have their kids pray, fellowship and build their faith while in school as an elective student activity through Released Time Religious Instruction (RTRI) ORC section 3313.6022.

  • PRO-BUSINESS

Being a voice for small businesses to help them thrive and navigate through this post-COVID economy. Promoting legislation that provides employment tax relief to business owners struggling from labor shortages. Presenting solutions that eliminate barriers to collaboration for small businesses, and developing strategic partnerships that create more jobs in our region.

  • HEALTHCARE

I believe in access to innovative healthcare solutions that are affordable for families. Supporting a critical infrastructure to keep our frontline healthcare workers and first responders healthy and safe who have been hit hard from the pandemic. I believe that family comes first. I will advocate to protect paid Family and Medical Leave benefits to support families through difficult times.

  • FAMILY

Families are the foundation of strong communities. Mothers in the workforce are disproportionately impacted, with 60% of non-working or part-time working moms reporting they would return to work if they had access to quality, reasonably priced child care. We need to work together to find solutions that support our families, including fixing the childcare crisis without putting an economic strain on families and employers

  • COMMUNITY

I am a strong advocate of the Golden Rule- “To love thy neighbor as thyself “ (Matthew 22:36-40). We all have differences, however, there is more that unites us than divides us. We the People coming together, putting aside our dividing labels, and focusing on service is what being a good neighbor is all about. We live together, so we should also work together.

  • WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

A proponent of innovative workforce solutions that prepare and equip Ohioans with essential skills to enter careers that are vital to fulfil our present economic workforce demands.

  • OFFENDER REENTRY

Second chance employment and housing initiatives are important for individuals reentering society from prison or jail. These initiatives help remove barriers and provide meaningful opportunities for returning citizens that are productive and benefit society as a whole.
