SMALL BUSINESS OWNER
I am a third generation business owner who grew up in the family business. My grandparents started Stanton Group Homes in 1978, to provide residential services to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a teenager and young adult, I worked in the family business and watched my grandparents work tirelessly to care for our residents, make payroll, be in compliance and keep the business afloat.
FAMILY VALUES
One of the most significant people in my life was my grandmother. My grandmother was a strong woman and the epitome of a leader. She was the eldest of 14 children, a mother, a wife of 47 years and a business woman. She helped my mother raise me and taught me the value of family and having good character.
My grandmother taught me to:
